Steam next fest 2026 is not very good and I am being nice in my wording.

Note, for this article: I am looking at pages, trailers, just looking under the hood. No actual gameplay, gameplay might be not so good... Bluntly, I don't have time to play all these games. I just wanted to talk Next Fest as it happened, highlight games that look good.

For my SFW recommendation, LOFTIA looks like a standout. It looks like "My Time" gone Friendslop MMO. Sounds pretty fun on paper and early reviews seem good.

Now time for NSFW Games:
First, "The Last Embrace: Book One". BIAS WARNING: Nox is a friendly acquaintance.

As I have told Nox themselves, a top quality Female Protagonist game needs a top tier female protagonist to make it worth the time. Nox passes with flying colors. Only issue, some AI translation.

Second, Driftborne. Again, another friend. Another bias warning. Apply it to the article as a whole really, because many friends are featured as Jamleng is another person who has been kind along my development journey and I don't forget things like it. Gorgeous renders, decent looking adult Highlander-like story. Looks like a fun journey.

    Baking with Chocolate, Moonbox. Moonbox is cooking with this one. Sorry, Moonbox had to make the joke. BWC meets a cast of gorgeous dark-skinned ladies. Sounds like the recipe calls for a chocolate creampie. I am done, seriously.

    Poking Nun by Infidelisoft. Your standard NTR fare, however, this time the female LI is a nun dealing with what appears to be Dibella worshippers. Too bad the nun's husband took an arrow to the knee, rather than got prenup.

    Tentacle Nurse by Xoullion. Basically looks like another Xoullion game (One on one monster girl romance) but this time she is packing tentacles. Japan 100.

    Pookie's Otherworld Tavern, OK, the bias is intense here. My Dorm Season 3. Unholy Maiden, A Match 3 side game from Princess and Conquest, The Spellbook, Gagged Love 2. All worthy of the final spot. But man, I have never met anyone who worked as hard as Pookie does. So Pookie, here. This spot is for you because someone sees your hard work and is acknowledging it. Hope it helps.

BONUS ROUND:
Yeah, I completely forgot one. Redikal also gets the BIAS tag too, but the newly named "Shadow Island" looks like a careful written tale with pretty art and a gorgeous GMILF. Rare we get great GMILFs, but Redikal nailed her. giggedy
